Overview of Bricks 4 Kidz

Who We Are

Chris & Maria Howard are the owners of the Bricks 4 Kidz Knoxville, a locally owned and operated small business that is a franchise of Bricks 4 Kidz, part of Creative Learning Corporation

The Howards launched Bricks 4 Kidz Knoxville in mid-summer 2013, offering a few camps at local community centers, and introducing the Bricks 4 Kidz After-School Program in 10 schools in West Knox County that fall. In May 2014, they opened a brick-and-mortar Bricks 4 Kidz location at the Shops at Franklin Square.

Chris has had a life-long passion for LEGO building, with some of his artistic LEGO creations showcased on his website duckingham.com and now at Bricks 4 Kidz. He enjoys teaching kids “cool techniques”, and is always impressed to see what “cool techniques” kids come up with on their own.

Maria didn’t realize how many LEGO bricks she was marrying into but has a degree in Elementary Education, plans out the curriculum for our classes & events in Knoxville, and enjoys the opportunity to teach basics of architecture and STEM through the medium of LEGO bricks.

Together, Chris & Maria are the proud parents of 4 kids – 2 boys, and 2 girls, who all inherited that love for LEGO toys.
